Field of research and work
I am a project collaborator on Anna Kristine Boulund's PhD project, which explores how gender, social class, and ethnicity influence young people's educational choices. Currently, I am working on a discursive study of politicians and journalists' representations of various educational pathways and the young people they are directed towards. My contribution aims to understand how these discourses shape young people's perceptions of which educational opportunities are available to them, and how their social categories influences these decisions.
